a country garden EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTRES provide Outside School Hours Care for all primary-aged children.
OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE PROGRAM
Before School Care (6:00am to 9:00am)
- Children do quiet activities during this time
- A courtesy transport service is provided to the school
After school Hours Care (3:00pm to 6:00pm)
- Courtesy transport is provided from the school
to the centre
- A comprehensive program is provided including indoor activities/games;
homework supervision; outdoor play time
- Afternoon tea is provided as a part of the service
Holiday Club (School Holidays and Pupil Free Days)
- A full excursion program is offered for school
holidays and pupil free days. Activities include: swimming,
rock-climbing, ten-pin bowling, lawn bowls, roller-skating,
movies, tennis, park activities, library, outdoor sport (Activities
are location specific – ask your centre for details)
- Lunch is provided as a part of the service (parents may be required to provide food for children with special dietary needs)
Children need:
- to wear t-shirts with sleeves;
- to wear closed shoes (eg. Sneakers);
- to bring swimming togs and towel if going
swimming;
- to bring a drink bottle;
- to bring 2 pieces of fruit for morning/afternoon
tea;
- the ability to listen to the teacher’s
instructions; and
- the ability to respect each other
