Montessori education at this early age focuses on nurturing the children in various areas of their development including fine and gross motor skills, as well as language development.
The daily and weekly program at a country garden EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTRES incorporate indoor and outdoor activities, music, movement, language and afternoon activities.
Examples of activities are:
- learning to feed/drink independently
- learning to crawl/walk/jump/run and balance (indoor obstacle
course, outside fort)
- posting activities (shapes/other items)
- ball activities (rolling/throwing/catching)
- introducing simple words (please, thank-you, yes etc)
- stories, music and dance (rhythm through clapping/stomping/waving etc)
